Livingstone Shire Council is once again delighted to support this year’s CQUniversity Village Festival as it offers up another fantastic smorgasbord of unique music, arts and culture for the community to enjoy.
Council is dedicated to making the Capricorn Coast Region the place to live, work, invest and raise a family, and with hugely popular events like The CQUniversity Village Festival, the community is abuzz with excitement.
Attractions such as the award-winning Keppel Kraken and recently-completed Yeppoon Lagoon Precinct and skate park as part of the Yeppoon Foreshore and Town Centre Revitalisation Project, are putting our piece of paradise on the national stage and transforming our region into a premier coastal destination for residents and tourists.
Council is proud to continue to support local artists, musicians and performers through various events and grants, while continuing to gather ideas to advance the establishment of a dedicated arts and culture precinct in Yeppoon.
The Capricorn Coast Region has become a vibrant and flourishing community hub and Council will continue to work positively with residents to realise our full potential as a region, to ensure a thriving, bright and prosperous future for generations to come.
