The Arts Project can be installed prior to the festival by arrangement. All Arts Project will be scheduled for installation prior to the festival, or at a time as required by the Artist and confirmed by the Festival Board.

Number of Artists involved in the Arts Project
The Festival Board provides access to selected installation areas within the festival precinct. The key precincts include: Yeppoon Foreshore between Ross Creek & The Bluff, Beaman Park, and Merv Anderson Park alongside Fig Tree Creek. By arrangement, additional sites can be activated however, the appropriate permissions must be finalised and confirmed in writing prior to commencing the project.

All successful artists will agree to indemnify The Capricorn Village Festival Limited (The Village Festival) in accordance with the contract. The Village Festival require successful artists to provide a copy of their current artists insurance prior to the event. Artists Insurance can be arranged by the Artist either: • by the Artist through your own Broker e.g. Allianz (Duck for Cover), QBE etc • through Folk Alliance Australia Insured@folkalliance.org.au Please email email@example.com with queries. Artists that claim reimbursement of costs ($50 max) are considered to be volunteers and are also covered under the Festival Insurance policy.
Public Liability or Performers Insurance
All artists included in the festival Arts Program will require the relevant insurances prior to commencing installation. Please select.
Arts Project Fee
The Arts Project Fee should be a total amount including installation & removal. It should also include any travel and accommodation costs if required. The Festival Board will be in contact with you to discuss a final fee.

Before you complete this section please understand that The Village Festival is a not-for-profit community run festival, organised by volunteers on a limited budget. It is operated by The Capricorn Village Festival Limited. Almost everyone associated with the Festival is an unpaid volunteer giving freely of his or her time and resources to ensure we all have a great weekend and that we sustain what has become our major regional music, arts & culture festival. The festival organisers will endeavour to provide installation sites during the Festival. The Fee you enter here will be an on-site delivered cost. The Festival Board will consider reasonable fee requests and will consider to reimburse costs for CQ Regional artists. The Capricorn Village Festival Limited can advise artists about funding opportunities for Arts Projects. This advise, however, is subject to the constraints and discretion of any funding organisation and arts funding applications are the responsibility of the artist.

Successful applicants agree to allow The Village Festival to use marketing and promotional material in related marketing campaigns to promote both the artist, the arts project, and The Festival. The Artist will grant The Village Festival the right to use their name and arts project information across all media, including approved photographs, likenesses and biographies to advertise and promote the festival. The Artist will provide The Village Festival with relevant publicity materials upon request.
