And Sunday 12th from 9am
The Enchanted Forest with Kate Schlick, funded by Livingstone Shire Council’s Placemaking Initiative, is a wire art installation where participants can freely express their inner sense of belonging, creating oversized wire sculptures to transform the landscape of Beaman Park. Local artists and members of the community, including students from Yeppoon State High School, St Brendan’s and St Ursula’s Colleges have created wondrous pieces which will become a centrepiece in the Yeppoon CBD leading up to and ring the Festival. Led by Kate Schlick through the Hey there Happiness initiative, the creation and installation aims ignite passions and inspire confidence through bold creation of large scale flowers, dragonflies etc… everything that an enchanted forest needs!
Also there will be amazing face painting by Bree at Two Faced Face Painting… she’ll be painting faces for FREE at our Enchanted Forest installation in Beaman Park this Saturday at 11am.
